For many people, especially during pregnancy, postpartum, or while caring for young children, accessing in-person therapy can feel overwhelming. Between physical recovery, adjusting to new routines, feeding schedules, and the unpredictability of life with a baby, simply leaving the house can become a barrier to care.
Telehealth makes therapy more accessible by allowing you to meet from the comfort and privacy of your own home. This flexibility means you don’t need to manage a commute, or the added stress of traveling when you’re already stretched thin. For pregnant clients, telehealth can also reduce exposure risks, provide convenience during physically demanding stages, and ensure continuity of care when mobility may be limited.
Whether you’re in the perinatal period or navigating other life challenges, telehealth offers a flexible, effective, and supportive way to prioritize your mental health.
Sessions offered virtually throughout California.

Yes! babies and nursing are welcomed in session. If you have older children I recommend (but do not require) trying to arrange to have someone else to care for them while in session. This is because you deserve this time to focus on you without distraction. Also, sometimes we may be discussing things that are not appropriate for little ears. If childcare is an issue, let's work together to find a solution that feels accessible and manageable to you so that you can have the time that you need.

Sessions are typically about 50-55 minutes long.

No! I work with adults navigating a wide variety of challenges and I do reserve a few spots for non-perinatal clients, and here is why:
Research consistently shows that the therapeutic alliance (the relationship between therapist and client) is one of the strongest predictors of positive outcomes in therapy. It’s the sense of safety, trust, and collaboration that creates real space for healing and growth…and I know that finding that can be really difficult.

Because I am licensed as a therapist in California, I can only provide therapy to clients who are physically located within the state. If you live elsewhere, we won’t be able to work together for therapy, but you’re not alone. I’m always happy to help point you toward resources or trusted providers in your area so that you can find the support you deserve.
